Orange Widow Tetra
Tetra is one of the common names among aquarium fishes and this family is consist of many subfamilies. This kind of fish is categorized in small size fishes and comes from Africa, Central America and south America. This name comes from a Greek name Tetragonopterus that means square-finned. The Body of Tetras is like a fusiform body and by the form of their fins aquarists can identify them. Caring this specie is easy and for beginners this kind of fish is appropriate like may other tetras. Fish Behavior is peaceful and for community aquariums is suitable. It is better to keep them in a warm and mildly acidic water. Slight should be considered but not a strong slight and a sandy substrate Aquarium is better if you want to best recreate the natural habitat but Its not crucial because they live on the top of water most of the time. Diet of them is most common aquarium foods such as flakes and pellets. Its better to have tank decorations like wood, caves and decorative elements for this specie.
